Leon accompanied me to the first-ever Singapore Toy & Comic Convention on Sunday 29th Jun, which is the last day of the event! Aching all over, I dragged myself all the way to City Hall MRT control station to wait for Leon to arrive. But he was late :(

So when he reached, we quickly but painfully made our way to Suntec Convention Hall. We didn’t actually know which level to go, thus we followed the massive trail of crowd all the way up to level 6. The place is OMG overcrowded with people!! No space to move! Too short cannot see anything! Scare will get lost in the crowds. But heh, I did enjoy myself there. I met Eclair, Dempster, Digimon guy, Jonathan and Lisa there as well! Such a coincidence. So crowded yet we still can spot each other! :)

Now for “some” random pictures I took while I was there:

So you can see that there are a lot of toys (general and designer), comics, animation, gaming, design and Cosplay (Yup, there are people cosplaying there as well). Moreover, all the exhibitors are from all over the world! And I didn't know that a lot of people in Singapore are interested in these! But I most probably think, as this is the first-ever Singapore Toy & Comic Convention, people being typical Singaporeans tend to be "Kiasu".

KHK08! It has finally arrived!

Today is the Miyuki Red White Anime Songs Battle ACTUAL DAY! Reached CCK at 12noon and stayed there until 9.30pm+. Is this crazy or what?! My duty there is as you all should know is a vibrator (a person who vibrates on stage… eh! Don’t think dirty hoh!) and prop person. I have been running all over the place, here and there and there and here, before the event starts. AND I LOVE RUNNING AROUND WITH BALLOONS~ So fun!

And finally when everything begins at 7.30pm, I was damn excited and had butterflies in my stomach! Because the mini dance that I'm dancing is the first one to start off the entire event! I was really really REALLY afraid that I would forget my steps and make a huge fool out of myself as I am one of the front dancers who don’t get to “follow” others when dancing. But after the dance, I feel really proud of myself! I didn’t do any steps wrongly! :D So happy! I wanna dance somemore please? xD

After the event was over, everyone retreated back to the Activity Room to pack and exchange contacts. ((And I finally get to meet Tsukikage! Hello Tsuki! If you are seeing this!)) Farhan sang one paragraph of the “One More Strand” song that he made up for the “One more time, One more chance” song. Everyone practically forced him into singing the song. *smirks* And I’ve got the video~ and including the other video recordings of 4 dances during the event.

Later on, Farhan brought over a black garbage bag to me saying, “I think you can fit inside.” The next thing I knew, someone carried me and put me into the garbage bag immediately. Looks like they want to find out whether I can fit inside or not. And they started taking pictures of me in it. After this, I escaped and went home! I don’t want to get placed into garbage bags again!

Okay... I looked like a homeless person living in a garbage bag...
My stare is like "Do not try to take my garbage bag! Or I will bite!"

Although there were teeny-weeny glitches and mistakes,
nevertheless this year KHK08 WAS A SUCCESS! *cheers*

Excellent job well done singers, dancers, vibrators, helpers and everyone who is part of it! Hope to see you guys again during the chalet's BBQ!~ :D
I really enjoyed myself and I'm glad that I did make more friends! Looks like my circle of friends has increased in circumference again!~ :) Okay! I really have to sleep now and my body is like aching all over!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *poofs*

This workshop is really enjoyable! Thank you Johnatton :) I seriously had so much fun and sorry if I didn't show it ._. Can't really show true emotions around people I don't really know. Moreover, I enjoyed BLUFFING the year 1s that I'm a year 2 student. I tried fooling them with the "Diploma in Sonic Arts" course nonsense. But alas, it failed! Anyway, they left the workshop still believing that I'm in year 2 :P [Heh~ I didn't even do the worksheet they gave.]

TESTICLES! xD!

(^0^)/ The recent Histopathology and Cytology lesson I had, which is on 24th June, was about testicles, the male reproductive tract. (Actually I was planning to skip this lesson, because I DO NOT want to learn about testicles.) The problem was about a guy injuried one of his testicles during a hockey game and he is worried that the injurt would affect his fertility.

Anyway, this guy's injury is called testicular trauma. Or maybe testicular torsion ;) Quick go google images for testicular torsion!
You can see images of testicle being open up to be twisted back to normal! xD
So let's skip to the interesting part! During the 2nd meeting, the facilitator brought in models of the male/female reproductive tract.

So yea! I can say that this is one of the most interesting Histopathology and Cytology lessons I have ever had :) I'm glad I didn't skip it! :D

Deckleswood is finally back! After such a long time! I still can remember the times I played this roleplaying chat game during secondary 2. I had lots of fun!~ So I decided to join back to renew these memories of mine. So here is my character that I will be role playing as:

Character's Name: Fayette Adelais
Character's Age: 14 years of age

A brief bio of your character:
Fayette Adelais was of royalty and great nobility. A princess to be exact. However, her parents died of a tragic death. They were assassinated during their sleep. Fayette witnessed her parents’ death when she coincidentally woke up in the middle of the night to get a drink of water. She was terrified but was able to escape from the clutches of the assassins. Fayette hid in alleyways of the nearby town, surviving with just mere scraps of food. And that was when she discovered she has magic. Fayette was able to conjure flames of warmth to keep her from freezing during the rainy nights.

One day, a tall man in black cloak hurried passed her alleyway and accidently dropped a slip of paper without noticing. Fayette came out of her covers and picked up the paper. The paper stated, “Astraea Academy of Witches and Wizards.” She was stunned and realized she could be one of them!! So she decided to find this school and learnt more about herself. And she did. She got accepted into the school and learnt that her mother was a well-known witch with great powers and her father was a mere muggle king. A half-blood! That’s what she is. However things went wrong, when one of the seniors picked on her and insulted not only her but her parents as well. Fayette went into a fury of rage, lost control and nearly burnt the whole school down. Therefore, she was then referred and transferred to the Deckleswood School. Little that she know, she is about to start her real adventure here in school as a 4th grader and uncover more secrets of her mother’s past.

Happy Belated Birthday, Mushroom!~

Today, we hereby celebrate Shuhua's birthday! Everything was planned nicely although there are some hiccups here and there, but they are not very obvious. And the shirt was designed during the holidays. Audrey and I crossed over mountains and raging rivers to get the cake and back. Mission Accomplished!

Reborn? I mean... rebond!

Finally! I get to rebond my hair~ I always envy those people with SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME straight hair. So yea, together with my two other friends, Puikwan and Audrey. We went to Chinatown, Tiong Bahru to check out the prices of the different hair saloon. In the end, we went to Bukit Merah's Creative Gallery. We had the ice rebonding package costs us $130 each, that includes cutting, treatments (4 of them) and of course, rebonding. Sat there for around 3hours straight and washed hair for 4 times. Now my hair smells like ammonia but I kinda like it. (I like the smell of ammonia ever since secondary school.) and we can't wash our hair for 2 days!!!

Yes lah! My hair doesn't look very obvious as compared as my friends'.
But! Now I shoot for shampoo advertisement! xD
I didn't realized my hair looks longer now!
I know it's obvious that I'm the shortest...............

Today, went for my KHK rehearsal again!! Next saturday would be a full dress rehearsal with makeup and all! But... I don't even know what is my dress code........... Anyway! The date and timing has been confirmed for the actual event!~

Don't try to distract meeeeee... Thank you. *Example: Waving frantically like someone stranded on an island, doing big actions like standing, pointing and obviously laughing at me.* These are no-nos.

So after the rehearsal, I went to the gym with Puikwan to train on my running and sit ups. I think I ran too fast on the treadmill. The speed too high but it's my usual running speed and running at that speed gives me great satisfaction :D Tomorrow I'll die with aches and pains everywhere. I can already feel them coming~~~
((Yes! I'll remember to return your pretty rubberband tomorrow.))

When coming home, I spotted something on the walkway. I wondered... Is it what I think it is? So I squatted down and started poking it. *pokepoke* Omg. It's wet and it hops... It's a KAPO!!! I mean a frog... It could be a toad... But I think it's most likely a frog. SO CUTE!

Sorry!! I know it's not very clear... But you see it right???

The next thing I did was... TO GRAB IT!!! xD I grabbed it with my right hand and it squirted/oozed out water(?) (Btw, it looks kinda bloated up when I first saw it.) Immediately, I dropped the frog and ran all the way home to wash my hands. The frog didn't like me! My mama scolded me for touching dirty things... But really! I can't help it. xD

Back home, Johnatton introduced to me SPORE™ Creature Creator. He created oh-so-many cute creatures with that programme! So I decided to try it out for myself. And here is my first SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME creature!! Named: Reptica. (random name)

Stressss! Soooo Scary!!

Heard that my facilitator for my FYP has already sent in the comments for the report. BUT!! She didn't receive my completed report; and only my incompleted report! My 5,292 words report!!! My precious hard work! I tried to send her the completed one but the whole webmail JAMMED and KILLED itself.

I almost went into a panic attack. I immediately checked my msn for online teammates. And to my dismay, no one was online! DAMN IT! I'm so fucked up now! This is what I thought. Quickly, I thought of an alternate route which is to sms Joshua. Yes, that teammate of mine in FYP. And yes, he took his sweet time to go online and asked me what happened.

From there, I found out what's the problem. My report size is too big to send over!!! 35mb! I had to get my report into a slimming programme immediately. I tried changing the pictures into PNG file. But it failed! Pathetically. It didn't reduce its size but INCREASE IN IT! From 35mb to a friggin' 60mb! I was shocked! I quickly get help from my trusty photoshop to help out in the slimming programme. And by working hand in hand with Paint, the slimming programme was a success! My report has slimmed down from 35mb to 1.2mb!!! :D:D:D

With that, I quickly sent the report over. I hope that it will turn out fine and my facilitator will receive it this time. If not, I can just "go home" already.........

I had my photoshoot today~ Woke up two hours earlier to prepare! Because I didn't prepare it the night before, was busy writing my storybook and talking ahsie about "stuffs" :$

I have never heard of Yewtee park before until today. It's a really deserted park with no one maintain it at all. Full of mosquitos! Really! I ain't kidding. No wonder no one goes there at all except for some couples who wanted some *ahem* private time. They swarmed around you like you are some huge blood pack. I nearly thought I would get bitten by Aedes mozzie, get Dengue Fever and then Die! But I ended up with ten over mozzie bites all over my legs T_T!~ BUT!! The park is really pretty! It looks like a forest with a clearing in the middle~

There was one part, I had to sit on the ground beneath the tree... It was damn scary, I tell you. Imagine all the different types of funny insects walking and resting all over the ground AND! I'm gonna SIT ON THEM! I saw wood lice, red ants and of course more mozzie flying around me. Once I was done with all the sit down shots, I stood up and started brushing my skirt with my hands. I'm afraid one of those insects would crawl up my skirt and bite my backside... :\ Which of course, I wouldn't want that to happen.

Ray also showed me something very interesting! Empty insect shell things, which I have no idea what are their actual names. I guess I better show you guys the picture instead. As they always say, A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words.

where the insects came out from!
SO INTERESTING RIGHT?! This is like my first time seeing such thing.

Okay~ Time to end off! I want to watch my Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series. So funny!
