Yay! Finally I get to go to the Jurong Bird Park!!~ It's been like 3423812134548 years since I last been there. Thank you Joshua's mama for the free Bird Park passes :)
Met Shuhua, ahsie, WeiLeng, Joshua and Moo for breakfast first at Jurong Point at 9.30am. After that, we proceeded to take bus251 to...... JURONG BIRD PARK!!
We looked at the map and planned our route carefully so that we can see all the birds without walking back and forth and back again. 我们不走回头路。So hot and tiring to do that. We started from the African Wetlands and ended at Penguin Expedition. We also went to view exhibits like World of Darkness, Windows on Paradise, Lory Loft and the African Waterfall Aviary. We skipped the top right portion of the map because most of the birds are repeatedly placed. So yay! Hope we have seen all of them. Sooo MASSIVE picture spam time! Really. No joking. Seriously. They are in chronological order. Really. No joking. Seriously.
At the African Wetlands, saw this extremely peculiar bird called the Shoebill.
Looks extremely intimidating and angry.
Feel like disturbing it but it might snapped off my hand :(
The World of Darkness, we played a game called "Spot the owls in the dark".
Difficulty: Easy
Saw a really freaky owl, the Great Grey Owl, I really felt like killing it immediately :\

Window on Paradise - Birds of Paradise exhibit
Played another game called "Spot the male Birds of Paradise in the overgrown jungle"
Difficulty: HARD!!
Why only males? Because the male Birds of Paradise have really pretty tail feathers, used for dancing to attract the females during mating season.
Lory Loft - where a thousand of lories/lorikeets live here.
You can pay $3 for a cup of diluted honey and nectar to feed the lories.

But was disappointed to find out that lovebirds weren't placed there.
It's okay because they were placed somewhere else. So I did get to see yipyips :D

My favourite birds there are the parrots, lovebirds and toucans.
Toucans are called toucans is because they can only carry two cans with their beak! :X
After that, we made our way to The Cathay to purchase tickets for Night at the Museum 2 (NATM2) and ate at Plaza Singapura's Subway. ahsie didn't follow us to watch movie, she went home :( The movie was alright, not really funny to me. I still preferred Angels and Demons over NATM2 :D

It has been a really enjoyable day out with my RP clique. And now~ I have been to the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park! :D The birds there were awesome and really colourful! They look like paintings and photos from printers. Such wonderful sights :)

SP Graduation Day!

Driving in the morning. Ain't gonna talk about it... (I hate driving!!! like really really hate!!) Then went home to use laptop for awhile and prepare for my secondary schoolmates' Graduation Day at Singapore Polytechnic! :D Actually there were no more invitation cards so I was only supposed to meet them after the ceremony. But... GuangHao had an extra invitation card so I get to go for the ceremony, listen to boring speeches and watch them receive the red-empty-cylinder-container-thing or whatever do you call it.

Congratulations!
So funny!! There's this guy who went up on stage while talking on his handphone and only put it down when the announcer called out his name. Power~ The audience cheered when he received his certificate. Anyway after the ceremony, we made our way out into the plaza and met up with all my secondary school classmates to take pictures!!! :D:D
