::31st Dec 09 - New Year Eve::
Erm... I'll be skipping the EOY post and try to blog the others first.
EOY post will be taking more time to blog than the others.
More pictures to edit and sort out :( i will confirm blog about it next time!!
And I would really like my blog to be up to date!! T-T
And so, it's finally the new year post!
And so, I started my day off by going all the way to Hougang to accompany Rebecca to buy her NDS. Edmund and Brandon came along as well. We went all the way there and to our dismay, they didn't have the stock yet and we'll have to come down again to get it. So annoying and waste of time & money!!! :\ So we wasted our time loitering about Hougang Mall, before I went off to meet my secondary school friends + Lisa's poly classmates for the countdown to 2010.

Then I went off to Far East Plaza, meeting Puikwan along the way. All of them have chosen to eat at a Korean Restaurant; and oh god, I don't like to eat Korean food (except for that kimchi instant noodles thing. but other than that, I don't eat at all :\) Apparently Puikwan didn't want to eat there either. So we went to KFC for our dinner and meet them all back there afterwards.

Next, we were trying to find a place to chill/hang out before the countdown. We walked to and fro, back and forth Orchard Road and finally decided on a location! To the HARRY'S BAR!
They even gave each one of us a party hat and some party equipments to use during the countdown!

And... I couldn't even drink anything there... All alcoholic and carbonated drinks... So I'm stuck to my water bottle instead :( We took pictures, played, joked, drank, chat and all those miscellaneous stuffs. Just being our crazy usual selves! xD Fazillah came to join us for the countdown as well. I played with Puikwan, Shalee and GuangHao the "Seagull Sandwich" game. It was really fun to watch their frustrating faces :X

I would say this is the best 2010 picture out of so many we have taken, IMO.
Anyway, we played too much until we missed the countdown!! xD!! We didn't even know it was over :( We couldn't hear people counting down or even cheering when it reached 12 midnight! D: Probably we were at the most isolated part of Orchard Road; Far East Square... That's why. But even so, we just popped all the poppers, sang Auld Lang Syne repeatedly and made a lot of noise with the party equipments! xD

::24th Dec 09 - X'mas EVE::
Ahh, super late post... Just like all my other posts...
So weird to blog about christmas now when it's already long over :\
Pretty lame, I know. But I still wanna blog about it!! :P Real short & quick, kay?
And so, I spent my christmas eve with a few of my closest GV mates @ Vivo City. Went there to buy candy canes for the GV managers and staffs with Rebecca and Edmund; and ended up staying there the whole entire day! Sally met up with me for awhile so I can give her the x'mas doll I made for her :P
Loitered about everywhere until Brandon and Aaron came to join us xD Had fun at the arcade. Dinner at Long John Silver. Played a fool at Daiso and Toys"R"Us. This is my first time seeing Brandon and Aaron behaving like primary school kids! Probably worst than that D: And soon all of us started following them and wreaking the whole place! 有样学样 @_@...
The Alvin & the Chipmunks were real statues at GV Vivo...
Not like the other GVs including ours... stupid standees Dx
I think Robert Downey Jr. is super cute :P

Had a christmas gifts exchange with my polytechnic clique @ Plaza Singapura; Secret Recipe. I was a little late as usual and Joshua waited for me at the bus stop :P When we have reached the location, they have eaten finish their cakes. Anyway, I ordered a main course, Mushroom Chicken Chop. Had our x'mas exchange, with nowhere to go next, we all went off to our different destination called home. Well, except for Moo who went off with his other clique xD
More on the gift exchange session, one will randomly picked a paper with someone else's name on it. If that person got his/her own name, everyone have to pick again xD More fair, right? It was on the 3rd time then all of us managed to get a different name. I picked the paper with Shuhua's name first, then mine and lastly, Moo's.

Although we have spent the entire day at one location, it was really fun and not at all boring!! :D Need to plan more outings before they start schooling :( So sad that I won't be working on christmas with all of them!!

Sad to say, Koko had an accident on christmas day :( Its claw got stuck on my shirt and it went into a complete panic. It started flapping its wings like mad and due to that, one of its blood feathers broke D: There were blood on the floor. When we thought the blood has already clotted, Damien put Koko on my bed and yes, there was blood on my bedsheets! We read online that we have to remove the broken blood feather pins because it will act like a straw sucking the blood out. When a blood feather is broken, a bird can bleed profusely and die. So we took a tweezers and tried to pluck the feather out. Hoping it was the broken blood feather. Because there was too much blood and with Koko struggling out of our grips, 3-4 feathers were wrongly plucked out. Those mature feathers with no blood in the pins. I was the one holding the bird down and spreading its wing out, while Damien pluck the pin feathers. Anyway, we tried to wash the blood off so that we can have a better look. The whole toilet looked like a crime scene in the end. Blood droplets on the table, mirror, wall and even my face D: The toilet stank with the stench of rust. To cut everything short, yes we managed to find the broken blood feather and pluck it out. We used corn flour as a pro-coagulant to help stop bleeding; in other words, to play safe. Damien was trying to be stupid and in turn, spilled the flour all over the floor. A real genius =.= Popped Koko back into its cage to rest after the traumatized period. Anyway, Koko is alright and still with us :) We have learnt how to handle a broken blood feather and didn't have to bring Koko to the vet and spent $150 on it!

Finally I can blogged about the reason behind my late December posts. I had to make christmas gifts for all my closest friends! And they took up a lot of my time and effort. My sweat, blood and most importantly, sleep! xD So it's not very hard to figure out that I have no time to blog at all. Everything was made from scratch! Everything! From felt cloth and wool!
Here's the sketch of how it's gonna be like.
Angel for girls; Santa for boys.
Hearts will have their names on.
6 angels & 7 santas.
Yes yes, they are voodoo dolls! If you are still wondering what are they :X
I started on the angels first.
For the angel base colour will be this purple shades mix colours.
After sewing their eyes on, I then started on the santas' body base.
Brown shades mix coloured wool for the guys xD
Completed clothes and hearts for the girls.
Almost done!! :3

And and and after many many late nights of rushing to complete these, I managed to complete them on the 23rd of December. One day before Christmas eve! In a nick of time, I would say. I am so relieved! :D But I have to postpone this promise for a little while because... Yokie lost his voodoo doll I made for him! He was really sorry, and yea... I made for him another one to replace the lost one. It's not the same, but it will do :X
