RP Clique: Coffee Hangout!

Finally it's one of those RP clique meet up & hang out days :) It has been quite long since we last hang out together - well, for the majority of us. Now that, WeiLeng is back from her studies at Australia. It's like yay, great time for a meet up session time :D & also, for someone has an extreme "need" to drink coffee and wants to do it together in a group... xP
So the planning was done and set into motion:-
Date: 11th July 2010
Location: Tom N Toms Coffee
Meeting Venue: Harbourfront MRT
Meeting Time: 11.30am ~ 12.00noon
And so,
I was pretty much the last one to reach there because I kinda took my time as I have a direct bus from home to Vivo City/Harbourfront. Koko came along with me to accompany at the bus stop, while I wait for the bus. Damien came down too; so that he could bring Koko home later :P

The six of us settled down at Tom N Toms Coffee; Vivo City. Everyone ordered something; as for me, I didn't order anything :P WeiLeng brought some snacks to share, so I ate those instead and steal food from the others :D As a result, I was rather bloated :P Yay~

Time passed as we bonded during this period with talks and food. Until it's time to take out Shuhua's belated actual present!!! (yes, the previous celebration of her birthday with those presents are not the actual birthday present! While waiting for it to ship over to my house, they bluff her by saying WeiLeng took her actual birthday present and could only pass to her when she returns to Singapore xD) WeiLeng and Moo did very sneaky stuffs under the table (don't think the left way :X), like taking the actual present out of the box and giving her just the box only xD
& she said, " Thanks ar for the batteries." Lol'd
But she did get her actual present in the end - a missy watch ;D
Once again, HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY AGAIN, SHUHUA DEAREST!

And WeiLeng has to be on her way home. It was really awesome for all of us to meet up from time to time so that bonds could be renewed and strengthen! :D Anyway, the rest of us passed our time by walked/strolled around Vivo City. Well, for awhile before everyone gets bored of Vivo. Anyway, I made a pit stop at the UOB ATM to withdraw money to pay up my debts to Audrey... :X
And this was the amount I owed her!

Soon, everyone started to disperse off to their various places. As for me, I met up with WenJie at Vivo City as well. We went up to Toys"R"Us to look-look before making our way to Plaza Singapura to catch a movie - Repo Man @ 4.40pm.
Due to the fact I watched Toy Story 3 the previous day, I bought this on impulse :P

Marina Barrage & Mother's Day~

This happened on the same day we went to book and pay for our tickets to Krabi. XueNi, Edmund and I had totally nothing to do after that and didn't want to go home; like Fazillah and Puikwan D: We decided to head down to the MRT station and look for a random location to go to. The first suggestion was to take the circle line train and randomly stop at one of the stations to explore :X But when we saw "Marina Bay", Edmund mentioned that he hasn't been to Marina Barrage yet. Aww~ D:

Actually, I haven't quite explore the Marina Barrage yet; especially the water fountain "playground" xD Well, the first time I've been there, was one of my stargazing sessions. It was at night; and I didn't explore the place at all. Haha, except for the Green Roof where we camped at. It really brings back memories; being ambushed by water sprinklers xD
Anyway... ahem, it's pictures time :)

XueNi, Edmund and I discussed about having a picnic and kite flying session (please let it be a cuttlefish kite :X) with the Epsilon and Cosca people. However the discussion is still in progress and hopefully we would be able to make it happen!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed :P So everyone, let's work together and let it happen! But first, we need to find time and set a pending date :\
Hmm... from there, XueNi had to go down to Great World City to celebrate Mother's Day with her mama. So Edmund and I accompanied her there :) Yep, it was Mother's Day as well! :D
I decided to get some carnations from my mama. Edmund too, but it wasn't carnations and it wasn't for my mama. And woah, the flower shop were selling their flowers at outrageous prices :\ We bought our flowers at Cold Storage though :X My bouquet of red carnations @ $4.50!!

Next, we proceeded to the gift shop to buy some ribbons and coloured wrapping tissues. Because if we asked the person to help us in the wrapping, it would cost a hell lot more :\ Next, we have totally no idea where to go to wrap our flowers. There's nowhere that is spacious and not less crowded :\ It's a shopping centre, you see... So we ended up in GV Grand's office and began wrapping our flowers there :X I did a rather horrible job at it...... I didn't know how to wrap a proper bouquet :( Well, at least I tried my best .__.

My mama was pretty happy with the carnations :) She placed them in a tall glass and left it on the dining table. The next morning, Koko destroyed them by biting on their stems D:! What short-lived flowers they are @.@ Naughty Koko!!!

The day has arrived... It's the day of "Fantasy comes ALIVE!"; video game and anime concert!! :D And it's also Labor Day! I wouldn't miss the chance to not work at all; double pay day... but the extremely sad thing was... I down money on the day as well... $42!!! T.T It's like I didn't work at all :( Such a wasted day... Shouldn't have work, I thought in the end. I could have spent my time preparing and cosplayed for the concert T.T
Anyway, what's done was done. So after work, I rushed down to Buona Vista to meet XueNi. I was a little late due to the delay at work :( Sorry~ From there, with very little guidance, we tried our best to make our way to NUS University Cultural Centre Hall. Apparently, we took the wrong bus, walked the wrong way and ended up very very far away from the Cultural Centre Hall D: It was a disaster. We realized that after asking the security guard and looking at the main map... We were at the hostel part of NUS... We very much hated NUS after this :X
Anyway, what's done was done. So after work, I rushed down to Buona Vista to meet XueNi. I was a little late due to the delay at work :( Sorry~ From there, with very little guidance, we tried our best to make our way to NUS University Cultural Centre Hall. Apparently, we took the wrong bus, walked the wrong way and ended up very very far away from the Cultural Centre Hall D: It was a disaster. The security guard told us to take the bus at the nearby bus depot. We didn't know what buses to take and when the bus would be arriving. After waiting anxiously for the bus for ten minutes - only thirty more minutes till the concert starts, we began to panic and started thinking of other options like going out on to the main street and get a cab to the Cultural Centre Hall. It was then we saw a taxi going into the bus depot. Without even thinking twice, we flagged for it and we were at the Cultural Centre Hall in no time at all! :D We reached there at 7.45pm :) Fifteen minutes before the concert~ Phew~~^^

We went up to the reception desk and presented our tickets. And in return, we got a rather useless booklet, which only the first two pages contain information of the concert and the rest of the pages were stupid advertisements :\

XueNi and I were starving! We didn't eat dinner at all before coming here because we didn't expect to get lost in NUS in the first place :( We browsed through the mini cafe located in the Cultural Centre Hall, everything was so expensive there. We didn't have much a choice so we purchased a sandwich each for $3 :\ Was too hungry! Dx

Well, we were one of the few last ones to get seated :P Our seats were quite at the back; the $30 seats. No photos and videos are to be taken in the theater and during the concert :( I tried my best to secretly take some pictures but there's one staff positioned at the back of the hall the whole time. So I didn't manage to take any during the concert Dx
The stage was pretty small and it's a small orchestra as well.

After the concert ended, most of the audience rushed out and began to queue for the autograph of Hitoshi Sakimoto (composer of FFXII, Romeo × Juliet). XueNi and I didn't really bother about all these signature stuffs and we left the place. It was going to be 11pm anyway. Late, late, late. Later no bus, how? We randomly took a bus out of this messy NUS place and ended up at Clementi. We were like super hungry so we decided to have a quick supper at the nearby coffee shop. Luckily, I managed to catch the last bus of 175 home!! If not, I have to walk home and I don't really know the place very well :(

When I got home and checked the concert leaflet that I've gotten when I bought the tickets... I realized... they cheated my feelings for one song!! :( There was no Super Mario Brothers songs at all!! T.T No wonder after the concert, I felt like one song was missing... T.T Oh, well... too bad for me then :\
