RP Clique: Coffee Hangout!

Finally it's one of those RP clique meet up & hang out days :) It has been quite long since we last hang out together - well, for the majority of us. Now that, WeiLeng is back from her studies at Australia. It's like yay, great time for a meet up session time :D & also, for someone has an extreme "need" to drink coffee and wants to do it together in a group... xP
So the planning was done and set into motion:-
Date: 11th July 2010
Location: Tom N Toms Coffee
Meeting Venue: Harbourfront MRT
Meeting Time: 11.30am ~ 12.00noon
And so,
I was pretty much the last one to reach there because I kinda took my time as I have a direct bus from home to Vivo City/Harbourfront. Koko came along with me to accompany at the bus stop, while I wait for the bus. Damien came down too; so that he could bring Koko home later :P

The six of us settled down at Tom N Toms Coffee; Vivo City. Everyone ordered something; as for me, I didn't order anything :P WeiLeng brought some snacks to share, so I ate those instead and steal food from the others :D As a result, I was rather bloated :P Yay~

Time passed as we bonded during this period with talks and food. Until it's time to take out Shuhua's belated actual present!!! (yes, the previous celebration of her birthday with those presents are not the actual birthday present! While waiting for it to ship over to my house, they bluff her by saying WeiLeng took her actual birthday present and could only pass to her when she returns to Singapore xD) WeiLeng and Moo did very sneaky stuffs under the table (don't think the left way :X), like taking the actual present out of the box and giving her just the box only xD
& she said, " Thanks ar for the batteries." Lol'd
But she did get her actual present in the end - a missy watch ;D

And WeiLeng has to be on her way home. It was really awesome for all of us to meet up from time to time so that bonds could be renewed and strengthen! :D Anyway, the rest of us passed our time by walked/strolled around Vivo City. Well, for awhile before everyone gets bored of Vivo. Anyway, I made a pit stop at the UOB ATM to withdraw money to pay up my debts to Audrey... :X
And this was the amount I owed her!

Soon, everyone started to disperse off to their various places. As for me, I met up with WenJie at Vivo City as well. We went up to Toys"R"Us to look-look before making our way to Plaza Singapura to catch a movie - Repo Man @ 4.40pm.
Due to the fact I watched Toy Story 3 the previous day, I bought this on impulse :P

Prize Stage: UFO Catchers

A movie outing with my movie buddy, WenJie. We decided to watch "Abandoned", a Cathay exclusive; and later head down to Marina Square for Prize Stage :D

After the movie, we went down to Marine Square for Prize Stage! We pretty much got bored of the small Prize Stage at Plaza Singapura; that's why WenJie wanted to go to the bigger one at Marina Square. Changed a few notes to coins and we started to feed the machines xD
We tried our luck for one of those small scoping UFO catchers (those usually have small plushies keychains, miscellaneous items, sweets). The first few times we caught naught *RAGE*. Apparently there was a technical problem on the other side of the machine, the technician/Prize Stage guy had to lift up the dome cover and fix whatever was the problem there.
An idea suddenly struck me :P I immediately put my hand into to the machine where the cover is slightly lifted up from there and took two small plushies and placed them on the moving platform. WenJie saw what I was doing and immediately put in coins so that the door flap will open. Thus the two plushies came tumbling down into the chute; followed by a small clover thing (@.@) I have totally no idea what was that. Later I approached the guy to ask whether I can exchange the plushies with the other plushies inside; especially the gloomy panda ones *_* And also to trade the clover thing with a Kabibara keychain~ All of our requests were granted! Awesome~ ;)
Afterward, we went to Pasta de Waraku for some late lunch :)

And then, we went back to Prize Stage to continue feeding coins to different UFO catchers; desperately trying our luck xD Of course, the rabbit won't bang its head twice on the tree :( Finally WenJie managed to catch a Mr. M figurine (well, that's what I have named it) and a Minnie Mouse plushie keychain.

And how did I get the black nyanko?
There's this old woman who was playing the catching station beside us. She's a professional at it! She kept catching toys and toys and toys; and finally she even hit the jackpot prize, which was a super gigantic plushie! She spoke to us and told us that she collected all the jackpot prizes that she has almost all of them already! She's always coming back to win those new jackpot prizes as well. When she was about to leave, she gave me pick one of the small plushies :) And I picked the black nyanko :D Thanks T.T~

Later on, I have to leave to meet my parents. They were going to fetch my brother, Damien and me to the SAF Yacht Club. My aunt is holding some sort of chalet over there. So we just go there to join in the fun. Moreover, I have not been to such places before :D Thumbs up for new places to explore! (^_^)b

My aunts decided to go for a dip in the pool and they asked me along. Apparently I wasn't prepared for such activity :\ Thus, no extra clothes or swim costume. One of my aunts lent me her spare clothes and I changed into them. I had to secure the clothes with rubbers as they were too loose (@.@) And so, we went to the jacuzzi pool to relax. My parents were playing mahjong with my grandparents. Damien was playing billiard/pool (you know what? I don't know the differences between them!) with my cousin, Joel. And I spotted the constellation of Scorpio!~ xD
When it was getting pretty cold, all of us went up to the rooms to shelter from the cold wind :X I went to take a shower before changing back to my own clothes. We gathered in the other room, where there's no mahjong playing, and ate jellybeans and cheese cake. The cheese cake bought by Jorina was absolutely horrible! I have never in my life tasted such horrible cheese cake :(

Met up with WenJie @ Plaza Singapura to search for Mae's presents. After searching, we finally got them :) WJ; a bottle of white musk. Me; a necklace :P Watched movie as well; using complimentary tickets. The Losers. Action comedy :3 Played some of those UFO machines & et cetera. WJ won a Hello Kitty plushie at the Marksman machine on his first try!! And then, he tried his very best to get the super jackpot prize, a Canon digital Ixus. In the end, he didn't get it and spent lots of money O.Q

Suddenly we got an urge to try out the new Magnum ice cream, Magnum Gold. Damn you advertisements plastered all over the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. We looked everywhere for the ice cream... Carrefour, numerous 7-11s... But we couldn't find it at all. So we decided to go to GV Grand to check the price for it. Yes, we do have Magnum Gold in the Gold Class menu. But it's horribly expensive... especially with all those extra charges like GST and service charge :\ We went down to the 7-11 of Great World City to give a final look for the ice cream. And yes, WE FOUND IT!!! :D:D Bought it at $3.90 and made our way up to the Gold Class lounge to dine on it.

Ahem~ Now on the celebration day of Mae's birthday :)
Kelvin started off by asking me how to celebrate Mae's birthday, as her birthday falls on the 24th; which is the next day. Not all of us were free on the actual day :( So we decided to throw her a mini surprise celebration! We planned with the rest of the GV Grand staffs and Kelvin was appointed to get the cake :P
As her working time ended earlier than the closing time, we tried our best to make her stay and wait for us xD She asked me what's going on but I told her, "Good things come to those who wait ;)" While everyone else was getting ready to surprise her in the office, some of us stayed with her - to distract her and stuff :X
Communicating through the walkie in mandarin, the signal was given to proceed to the office :D I ran to the office first to see what's happening, while the others strolled slowly behind. The office lights were switched off and LengShan was hiding behind the manager's desk, holding the cake; lit up and all :) And then when Mae entered the office, LengShan stood up and walked towards Mae while all of us started singing the birthday song :D Mae was very surprised and super happy!! And I gave her the birthday present as well :)

My very first April post! :X
This is my first staff meeting session :) There’s buffet and even a free movie screening afterwards; where we could watch any movie that’s playing that day. The horrible thing was… the meeting was at 8am and I worked to 1.10am the previous night. Yep, the lack of sleep was unavoidable. The EOS staffs slept overnight at GV itself! The manager, Yao Shyan asked me to do so but I didn’t want :\ So disgusting; never bath or change clothes…
I sat beside Augusta! :)
The staff meeting was an info-sharing session; where the managers give us lectures about everything like holding the trash bag while collecting rubbish will give you +20 speed :X So boring! I almost dozed off to wonderland T.T! And they also implemented a new incentive system using points. We were also divided into teams of 6 and it is lead by a manager. My team consists of Kelvin, Irshad, LengShan, Paul, Jamaica and the manager is Kelly. The team with the most points at the end of twelve weeks will get $1000!!! So far, our team is leading :) Go, go!! The spirit of Athena will be with us! xD

For my free movie screening, I picked Clash of the Titans. I watched it with Augusta, Kelvin, Candy, Edmund, YeoHao, Jermaine, Rommel and Paul. I still preferred the actual Greek mythology version of Perseus. Moar awesome!! xD
Btw, there was an event from the 2nd to 4th of April at GV Grand and Bishan. It was an easter egg hunt xD Slips of paper with words saying, “Congratulations, you have find an easter egg. Please collect it at the Candybar.” were placed under random seats of all the theaters. So if you have found, you can exchange the paper for a chocolate egg or even luckier, a chocolate bunny! I asked Yao Shyan to give me the chocolate bunny :P
