The day has arrived... It's the day of "Fantasy comes ALIVE!"; video game and anime concert!! :D And it's also Labor Day! I wouldn't miss the chance to not work at all; double pay day... but the extremely sad thing was... I down money on the day as well... $42!!! T.T It's like I didn't work at all :( Such a wasted day... Shouldn't have work, I thought in the end. I could have spent my time preparing and cosplayed for the concert T.T
Anyway, what's done was done. So after work, I rushed down to Buona Vista to meet XueNi. I was a little late due to the delay at work :( Sorry~ From there, with very little guidance, we tried our best to make our way to NUS University Cultural Centre Hall. Apparently, we took the wrong bus, walked the wrong way and ended up very very far away from the Cultural Centre Hall D: It was a disaster. We realized that after asking the security guard and looking at the main map... We were at the hostel part of NUS... We very much hated NUS after this :X
Anyway, what's done was done. So after work, I rushed down to Buona Vista to meet XueNi. The security guard told us to take the bus at the nearby bus depot. We didn't know what buses to take and when the bus would be arriving. After waiting anxiously for the bus for ten minutes - only thirty more minutes till the concert starts, we began to panic and started thinking of other options like going out on to the main street and get a cab to the Cultural Centre Hall. It was then we saw a taxi going into the bus depot. Without even thinking twice, we flagged for it and we were at the Cultural Centre Hall in no time at all! :D We reached there at 7.45pm :) Fifteen minutes before the concert~ Phew~~^^

We went up to the reception desk and presented our tickets. And in return, we got a rather useless booklet, which only the first two pages contain information of the concert and the rest of the pages were stupid advertisements :\

XueNi and I were starving! We didn't eat dinner at all before coming here because we didn't expect to get lost in NUS in the first place :( We browsed through the mini cafe located in the Cultural Centre Hall, everything was so expensive there. We didn't have much a choice so we purchased a sandwich each for $3 :\ Was too hungry! Dx

Well, we were one of the few last ones to get seated :P Our seats were quite at the back; the $30 seats. No photos and videos are to be taken in the theater and during the concert :( I tried my best to secretly take some pictures but there's one staff positioned at the back of the hall the whole time. So I didn't manage to take any during the concert Dx
The stage was pretty small and it's a small orchestra as well.

We were wondering why they didn't play "A Song of Storm and Fire" for Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle; which is the most epic song in the anime. And then, during the encore, our wish was answered! :D Yes! They played the song!~~ We were so happy :) Especially XueNi!! xD

After the concert ended, most of the audience rushed out and began to queue for the autograph of Hitoshi Sakimoto (composer of FFXII, Romeo × Juliet). XueNi and I didn't really bother about all these signature stuffs and we left the place. It was going to be 11pm anyway. Late, late, late. Later no bus, how? We randomly took a bus out of this messy NUS place and ended up at Clementi. We were like super hungry so we decided to have a quick supper at the nearby coffee shop. Luckily, I managed to catch the last bus of 175 home!! If not, I have to walk home and I don't really know the place very well :(

When I got home and checked the concert leaflet that I've gotten when I bought the tickets... I realized... they cheated my feelings for one song!! :( There was no Super Mario Brothers songs at all!! T.T No wonder after the concert, I felt like one song was missing... T.T Oh, well... too bad for me then :\

ahsie asked me out for lunch with her friend, Hweehsia. And I had to travel all the way to Tampines. Imagine traveling all the way to Tampines for lunch and then I have to go back to Great World City for work?! Sounds crazy; but I did that :\ The reason was I have not seen ashie for a long long long timeeee T.T~ So once in a blue moon, this is okay :)

I went to my youngest brother's Speech Day event at Henderson Secondary School. It has been super long since I last went back to my secondary school. Anyway, the purpose was to see Damien receiving his award. Apparently, he did really well for his studies :D
My brother; top in combined humanities, combined science,
first in class and first in standard :D
I didn't know the Speech Day was so boring D: I have never attended one before because I'm usually part of the choir performance during the event. I didn't know that the uniform groups march parade was so horrible. No one even know what's going on outside. No speakers. The camera view of it was terrible.
Meh, the school principal was no longer Mrs. Yeo anymore :( This new principal (I don't even know what's his name D:), I didn't like him very much. He talks too much and he has the tendency to increase his volume suddenly when he's speaking :\ So funny to see students dozing off and then jerking up when he suddenly spoke loudly. His annual report speech was about two hours long. It was effing boring and no one was even paying any attention to him at all...

Went all the way to Jurong there for a job interview at Resort World HQ. Sadly, I have once again failed another interview. After the interview, I had to walk through a community centre to get to my bus stop. &&& the community centre has a small aviary! It was so awesome; I really like those yipyips :D Spent some time trying to take pictures of them :X And then I took a bus to meet Rommel at Lucky Plaza; accompanying him to get his SD memory card :)

Went to Johor Bahru; Malaysia with my mama and aunt :) Every friday is like a shopping day for us :D But now, I started working on fridays... So there's no more of such shopping trips for me anymore :(

Met with Johnatton at Bugis to collect his card games and we went to GV Marina to catch a movie; Professor Layton And The Eternal Diva. The movie was okay-ish. How to train your dragon is still the #1 movie of the month for me :)
Next, I met up with XueNi and we began our job hunt at the JobsDB Fair @ Suntec Conventional Hall!! Firstly, we registered ourselves at the counter and obtained a personal barcode. Next, we proceeded up to the 6th floor to submit our resume by scanning it into the system. When that was done, we were given a green sticker each to show that we have submitted our resume. & finally, we can properly start our job hunt :)
The proper procedure was to approach every booth to find out about their jobs; and then if we are interested in it, we have to scan our barcode to submit our resume to the individual company there. However, XueNi and I discovered a much simpler and lazier way of applying for jobs. All we have to do is walked up to the row of computers placed at the sides and start searching for whatever jobs you are interested and applied to them immediately; with no hassle! :D Hopefully, those companies would reply to us soon... or not :\
Later, we went to Kenny Rogers for our lunch/dinner.
(they should really invent a word for that since there's already a word called "brunch" which is breakfast/lunch...)

Pretty interesting that now all the gachapon balls are like colour code for each item in the gachapon machine. The little girl left without checking what she had gotten. We were curious so we peeped into the machine and realized that green capsule balls contain all the Itachis D: It was a horror to us. If only, she didn't hesitate :(
XueNi didn't really want to give up so she tried again and again and again. She gotten Naruto again, Sasuke, Sasuke again, Yondaime, Kakashi and Yondaime again. It was such a horrifying sight that I couldn't bear to watch. Mind you that each capsule cost $3. And she already got 4/5 of the charas. Only left with Itachi. With her last $3, she gachapon-ed for the final time. This time she got.... ITACHI!!! We were very happy :) Moreover, she has the full set now! xD

Pardon for the super late post... Too many events and stuff to do :(
This post will not be as detailed... & most pictures will be made into collages... :X
Like I have said, I have been peer pressured into cosplaying for Day 2! xD My intention was not to go at all and rest at home. But my anime friends like Aim and Eclair wanted me to cosplay for the 2nd day as well. So I did the cosplay that was easiest for me. Nagato Yuki. I had everything; wig, uniform, shoes. The only thing I need to do was to iron the uniform! xD

Anime: 「Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu」
Character: Nagato Yuki (School Uniform Version)
Location: Suntec Convention Hall; AFA
My papa sent me to Suntec Convention Hall by van and I met up with Eclair. We prepared and got ready in the handicapped toilet at Marina Square. The toilets all over the convention hall were packed with other cosplayers! D: Every single one of them! After changing, we went back to the convention hall and met up with TingYu and the rest(?) Can't remember names... :X
Anyway, Eclair then made me go into the AFA convention hall :( But she paid half of my ticket though... & the rest who didn't want to pay; managed to get in for free ;) I only wanted someone to go in and gachapon for me my Dragonball Z gachapons!~~ Oh well... And so, I just went into gachapon my Dragonball Z and also the Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu balls.

For the Dragonball Z gachapon, I got ANOTHER MAJIN BUU AGAIN! :\ Stupid pink blob! I gave it to Tsuki. Using my money, Eclair gachaponed for me Saiyan Goku and Trunks! She was really lucky! :D But but but... I still didn't get Vegeta T_T!~ My favourite DBZ chara! & for the Suzumiya Haruhi one... I got Itsuki Koizumi and Mikuru... Sighs, I didn't get Nagato Yuki!! But there was one photographer who gotten two Nagato Yuki and he was nice enough to trade with my Itsuki one :) It was a pretty good gachapon experience after all! Even though, I was seriously unlucky :\

Walked one round with Tsuki (The rest all suddenly disappeared! :\) and found TingYu at the entrance! TingYu was supposed to be Eclair's partner, Kagamine Len; Magnet White version. But she was alone as well! We stood there talking to each other but we got interrupted a lot of time by photographers D: And there was pretty cramped as well with all the people walking in and out of the convention hall. So we decided to go to the 3rd floor and camp there, while waiting for Eclair and the rest to come. Another reason was to have a place to put our bags down! No fun having them while cosplaying! :\
Anyway from here onwards is nothing more than taking pictures and running all over the place. I managed to finally meet Yusri. Found Alfred and Aim (For Aim, I found him too late... He already has changed out of his cosplay costume D:). Made new friends; h0rse, JiaQing & Violet. Took pictures with other cosplayers. Running to-and- fro Eclair's group & Yusri/Alfred's group.
Lastly, I had LOTS of FUN! :D :D :D :D

After all the photo taking, we went to walked around the convention hall one last time before we changed out of our costume. Well, except for TingYu. I had a quick peek of the "I Love Anisong" concert beside the convention. It was really crowded. Those who didn't want to pay $108 could stand at the back and watch the entire thing :\ Ate dinner @ Burger King with TingYu, ZhenYing, Tsuki and Wendy. And Tsuki drove us home in his lime green van! :D Thank you!!

This is the end of my 2nd day at AFA! It was far more enjoyable than the 1st day. I get to relax and walk around on my own. I have also widen my range of anime/cosplay friends!! Btw, I'm the only Nagato Yuki there! :D So funny when people wanted to take pictures of me together with their Nagato Yuki figurines they bought. & I also took pictures with two Suzumiya Haruhis xD This time, more people knows what I'm cosplaying!!! Like yay! Someone actually recognized me from EOY08! And I don't even remember him at all... Failure. Memory leaked again :\

My future cosplay for Nagato Yuki would be the witch version!! Can't wait to do that version~
