Yay! Finally the day has arrived. The day I'll get a new bird. A cockatiel ;) My youngest brother, Damien, is meeting up with the seller. And since I do not have work, I accompanied him all the way there.
Waited for Damien to come back home from school and off we go!!~ Found the directions to the place online the other day. Took the MRT to Marsiling and boarded any bus there. Alight 2 stops after. When we reached the void deck of the block, we called the seller.
We were thinking that the seller will be some middle-aged man. But it turned out to be a young guy, probably around my age or so. He brought down a cage with 3 cockatiels and 1 pied lovebird. They were all babies!~ Sooo cute! :3 Of course, we are not going to buy the lovebird. The 3 cockatiels there were 2 pearl and 1 lutino. 3 weeks old. All hatched 2 days apart. The seller seems to have lots of birds at home O_O He told us that he even has a Sun Conure that can do flying tricks. How awesome!!!~

We asked about the hand feeding thing and whether he can sell us the hand feed formula as well. He called up and his brother (I think) came down and passed him the hand feed formula. Taught us how to feed it and stuff. And we finally decided on which cockatiel to buy. Not going to get the lutino one though. Have enough of Ocean and Sky's colours. So we bought the pearl cockatiel :)
We picked this one :)
Paid $70 for it and $8 for the hand feed formula. We put the cockatiel into a shoebook and brought it home like that. Stopped by a POSB ATM on the way to bank transfer the money to Ray. I couldn't wait to get home!! Anyway when we finally reached home, I washed the small cage while Damien prepare the food for it.
Koko is the name :)

The formula has to be the correct temperature – if the food is too cool, it will not digest properly and if it is too hot, the baby's crop may burn.

Too young to fly. Around 8 weeks old then it will be flying.
We have to wait 5-6 months then we will be able to tell its gender... D: So long!!! I hope Koko is a male~ Then it will be able to sing and talk :) Females can't do that because they don't need to look for mate. It's the males that look for females to mate! :(
Anyway, I love Koko *hearts*~
Btw, the lovebirds seem to be quieter now. Probably they are scared of the new bird :X

The day has finally arrived. The day where I'm no longer a student anymore. The day I will receive my diploma certificate. Heh! And I'm not feeling any different either! :X
In formal attire :)
The registration time was 12.30noon to 1pm. And we reached like approximately 1.10pm. Pretty late, eh? :X Since WeiLeng, Shuhua and ahsie's parents have not arrived yet, we spent another 10mins disposing our bags with Joshua's parents! (Yay! Thank you so much!) Well for me, I'm alone with no guests to view my graduation at all.
After registering and putting on our robes, we assembled at the dance studio for a short briefing. My queue number is 25, while the rest were so much further behind :( One of the first to go up the stage to receive the certificate. All of us looked like priests and students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry xD
Next, we proceeded in a single filed into the theatre and filled up the seats there. Waited anxiously for the ceremony to start. We were then guided row by row to the backstage and when my name was finally called, I walked across the stage to receive my certificate. The only thing was... the announcer pronounced my name wrongly! Especially my chinese name... as Shitting! Shit her lah! I glared at her before walking across the stage. I was furious. I guess it was shown on the screen above :X Because all of my friends were telling me how angry/fierce I looked on stage. But~~ Luckily I didn't trip and fall down flat on my face! It will be so embarrassing and funny!! xD!!
Went back to my seat after that and watched the other graduands of the Biomedical Sciences stream received their certificates as well. After awhile, it got pretty boring. So I slept throughout the whole ceremony and only waking up to clap for people I know :) Congratulations to Shuhua for getting distinction, to Johnatton for getting distinction as well plus module award winner for Genomics, ahsie for receiving her Advance Diploma in Pharmacy Practice and of course, to everyone else who passed and graduated from Republic Polytechnic!! :D It has been a long 3 years. Though... it didn't seem that long to me :\
After everything has ended and everyone was dismissed, we all met up in front of the TRCC and head to the South Agora for payment of the photographs, collection of our bags from Joshua's parents (Thank you again!!) and for refreshments as well. I didn't eat anything from there. Was busy... TAKING PICTURES WITH EVERYONE I KNOW! ;) So... you know what to expect now... PICTURE SPAM!! xD!

So much fun taking pictures with my friends. Although some of them I might not see you anymore, but I'll try my best to remember you guys!!! Blehx. I have totally no confidence in myself. My memory is horrible. So yea... hopefully I can remember all of you~ Lol! Notice that my clothes are getting lesser and lesser formal? :X Graduation attire to formal wear to informal wear. Anyway, I think I look good wearing a tie!!! :D Motive of the day was completed! Mission accomplished! I'm like overjoyed!!~
I ended the day by having dinner at Pastamania with Joshua, WeiLeng and ahsie. Shared a meat lover pizza with ahsie :) Then I took the bus 963 with Joshua home. He alighted the bus after 1/3 of the journey, while I continued sitting there for an hour or so.

My parents didn't even ask me to show it to them... This shows they don't care at all... T_T~

And yay! I got my laptop back from XueNi. I realized I couldn't stand it without my laptop because I couldn't do anything else, other than play MMORPG all day long. So I met up with Xue Ni after her work and collected my laptop back from her :)
My dearest laptop is back! :D

So now~~ I can blog about my Kbox session with Shuhua last Saturday! I promised her long long long long long long time ago. And now I can finally fulfill it :D Went for the 12noon to 2pm session at Clementi Kbox. But we pushed it back to 30mins later because I was still munching on my subway cookie, refusing to leave without finishing it :X

It was really really fun! I never had so much fun at kbox before! Maybe two persons is the right number for kbox-ing, no microphone snatching at all. And I sang a lot of english songs and a couple of chinese ones. My mandarin is not very good. In fact, it's horrible! All my pinyin of the chinese words were wrong :X Shuhua kept laughing at me :( We must go again next time okay??? :D
Next, we proceeded to Jurong Point Shopping Mall to purchase our cross stitching materials :) I can finally cross stitch! I've been longing to do this for a very long time. But those cross stitch package with everything in them cost a lot! Like $45+++ Anyway, it's cheaper if you find the patterns online, print out and then go buy the individual threads and cloths. For me, I think I spent $14.90 or so. Then I followed (sounds like I'm a stalker!! :X) Shuhua back to her house to start off our stitching project!

Yay! Now I can blogged about the present~ It's not exactly the present but it's not one, two weeks ago news. Last Sunday, after I came home from work. When I walked into my room... I noticed there were a lot of empty boxes in my room :\ But then when I turned on the lights... OMG! There is a black desktop on my table!!~~~ With a 19 inch monitor O_O

LOL! Comparing to my laptop... My laptop looks smaller~
With such big screen... Imagine if I watched animes or movies or even play MMORPG on it! Woot! It must be awesome :3 I have yet to attach and install the wireless network adapter, so no internet for the meantime. Yay! So happy! :D Thank you papa! :D

One of those nonsense everyday life post. (Actually not... xD)
This morning, went for driving. I was pretty lucky to reach BBDC before it started raining. I didn't take the bus but walked all the way there. Just feel like walking :\ I cleared three stages! Circuit slopes, vertical parking and emergency braking. It must be my lucky day O_O My first time clearing three stages at once! Yay! And I took back my FMA anime from the Cheong SF instructor. Btw, I booked my TP test already... It's in May. Hope I can pass and get my driving license so I can start killing people on the road :)
After this, I proceeded to Jurong East Library and waited for Johnatton to reach. Why? Because I suddenly got the extreme urge to go to Science Centre again, so I need his membership card for a discounted price. Oh no. What if I got the urge to go Science Centre every week?! Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Anyway I finally seen all of the Ecogarden and the library! :D
Going back to the MRT station, I received two calls from some companies. One is from those recruit agent (not Recruit Express, I totally hate them already). And the other is for a Dental Assistant position, the interview is on Thursday and I won't be in Singapore so I asked her to postpone for me.... =_= BAD IMPRESSION! Nooooooooo~
Johnatton and I alighted at Queenstown. And tried to anyhow walk to Anchorpoint since he didn't want to follow the bus route xD! So we kinda got lost, went around Mei Ling Street and Stirling Street and finally reached Anchorpoint... in 30mins time? Lol! Went to a store that sells puzzles and games. Johnatton bought a pyramid rubiks and I after much consideration have chosen a transparent DIY rubiks cube.
I went back and tried to tighten the silly cube but it didn't work. I have to go down to the store tomorrow and ask why it didn't work!... Hope they still remember me :\ Please!! They better remember me!!

He too passed me two more of his puzzle toys to solve. A metal disentanglement puzzle and Rubik's Magic.

Went to the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage.
Shuhua wanted to pretend conducting on it, thus I accompanied her.
Sneaked in to the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden, because it's only for children below 12 years old or adults with children below 12. No wait... Actually we 光明正大 walked in, since we can't go back being 12 years old and it will be super long time till we get our own children.
We got chased out by security guard while resting under this small hut xD
It was so much fun! We acted blur and pretended that we didn't know!
Woah. The day at Botanic Gardens was pretty awesome! I enjoyed every part of it. Walking in the rainforests, spotted squirrels infested trees, disturbed a snail. Getting really sweaty walking for one end of the Botantic Gardens to the other end.
Thank you WeiLeng for taking those excellent photos :D Really must give credit to her!! And to Joshua for planning this excursion because I wanted to go to the Botanic Gardens and guiding us through the Gardens, even though he didn't remember some of the plants' names :X And for me LOL-ing at him!
