Orchard Xmas Trees Viewing

yes yes, another 18th dec post. a continuation from the previous post.
haven't been blogging lately due to my gaming desire suddenly awaken again :\
playing EssenceRO, midrate private server.
& warning; picture spam ahead :)
And so, after my ARMS excursion, I went to meet up with ShunAn, Edmund and Rebecca; 6pm @ Plaza Singapura. I waited for 30-45mins for them and found out that Rebecca wasn't coming along for the xmas trees viewing session :( Because she was exhausted from the lack of sleep, due to xmas gifts crafting. We went one week earlier because we didn't want to squeeze with all the people who will be going on the week of Christmas Dx

Anyway, we began our journey from Plaza Singapura to Paragon, looped around Wheelock Place and continued onto Takashimaya and then straight back to Plaza Singapura. No, we didn't walk to those ulu-ulu places like Far East Plaza. I'm pretty disappointed that some places do not have xmas trees at all! Places like the Cathay and Plaza Singapura. Looks like the xmas trees trend is dying off :(

It was pretty fun and exciting to source out all Orchard shopping centres' xmas tree! I have to say thank you to ShunAn and Edmund for accompanying me on this mission. As for my favourite tree? It would be the butterflies tree of Paragon :) Super pretty tree!! :D Hope I get to take another set of photos of this coming 2010 xmas trees~

Did the same actions for 2 hours... It's like factory work where the machines did the same repetitive stuff over again and again. Fill the boxes with popcorn. Put the box into a plastic bag. Seal the plastic bag. Put the sealed popcorn box into a garbage bag. 20 popcorn box for each layer. One garbage bag could only hold 4 layers, and that is 80 boxes in total. We packed 300 boxes in 2 hours! D:

Okay okay. 5.30pm! Time to start work at Candybar. I don't like Candybar at all :\ So much things to do and I don't like popping popcorn. So smoky and the smell tend to cling onto my hair and uniform. Slaved all the way to 10pm without any food!! Imagine no lunch and dinner :( Too busy to even have a break or to buy food. When Puikwan and I finally ended our work, we went down to 7-11 with Edmund to buy instant noodles, bread... SINCE ALL THE SHOPS WERE CLOSED ALREADY!!! :\
Heh. Tuna and bread, my supper :)
After that, Edmund still cooked for us Myojo Tom Yam noodles! Omg. Bloated. Went to the toilet to puke the excess out :X Puikwan and I promised ShunAn that we would wait for him until his work ends at 1.20am. Since we have got nothing else to do, we signed-in for Transformers that starts at 10.40pm and ends at 1.19am. Just nice right?! The timing. We took blankets and made our way to the 2nd row of the side block, lifted up the armrests and laid down to sleep! :X
WRONG CHOICE OF SHOW TO SLEEP IN!!!!! :\ SUPER SUPER NOISY!!! BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG x1000000 times... CLANK CLING BANG BANG BANG!!! But I'm glad I still able to sleep abit during the quiet and not so loud parts. Phew... Should have slept in Sunshine Cleaning instead :(

Still feeling drowsy, we walked about the whole place with the blankets xD! ShunAn was still not yet done with his Candybar closing... So we just wandered about, helped cleared a theater and FINALLY!! He's ready to go home at 2.10am. He gave up his taxi ride home and walked home with us~ Yay! 3rd time walking home!! Talked, laughed, joked all the way until we reached the junction, just outside the Defense Technology Towers, at 3.10am. That's where I left them to walk alone into Depot Road :(
Music was our only companion when we were alone.
Reached home... 3.21am!! :D

I suggested to Puikwan that we should walking home after work as we have the whole night to ourselves and we do not have work the next day! As you know, I only worked closing shift. Thus, the time I ended at work is usually around 11pm. Then have to include changing out of the uniform, talking/gossiping with the EOS staff. It just gets later and later xD!
So after everything, we walked to the bus stop, still deciding whether to take the bus or walk home. Aww heck the bus. Let's walk! It's only 11.10pm! :) So we walked and talked, and talked and walked. And..... we made a wrong turn at Holiday Inn. Because WE TALKED TOO MUCH! xD Only realized it when we reached somewhere between Havelock and Beo Cresent. So we turned back, walked and made sure we made the right turn at Holiday Inn. Reached Tiong Bahru at 11.50+pm!! Almost 12 midnight! xD
Stopped for a break at 7-11 to buy drinks and also a "Mr Men & Little Miss" capsule ball, just for the fun of it. Hey! I thought we are going to save money?!?!? :X
Aww... They ran out of Pokka Green Tea so I bought Yeo Lemon Barley instead.
Haha! We got Little Miss Chatterbox and Little Miss Sunshine ;)

Okay okay! Let's get on with our journey. We're only halfway through!! Continued walking... Reached Bukit Merah at 12.20am. And finally the place where Puikwan and I split up to walk our own way home :( Said my byebyes and I began to walk down into Depot Road area. It was really quiet. No cars. No people. I truly enjoyed it :) With the music playing at my left ear, I sang out loud while making my way back home :D
I reached home at 12.40am while Puikwan, 12.43am. 3mins difference only! xD Walking at night is the best! We should do this more often. *thumbs up*

Hurray! Off on monday! :D No work. Yippee!!! Decided to go to the mini job fair at Yew Tee Community Club. Meet Puikwan at 12noon (wasn't late!!! :P) and we took bus97 from her house there to Jurong East Interchange to meet up with Lisa. Then we made our way down to Yew Tee :)
I reached home at 12.40am while Puikwan, 12.43am. 3mins difference only! xD Walking at night is the best! We should do this more often. *thumbs up*

Hurray! Off on monday! :D No work. Yippee!!! Decided to go to the mini job fair at Yew Tee Community Club. Meet Puikwan at 12noon (wasn't late!!! :P) and we took bus97 from her house there to Jurong East Interchange to meet up with Lisa. Then we made our way down to Yew Tee :)
Woah... Looks like there's a lot of people are looking for jobs... We applied for some of the career opportunities there and left the place. Thank you Lisa for printing my resume for me :) Went to Yew Tee Point to look for ATM to withdraw money so that I can buy myself some lunch... T_T! Poor already! While looking for the ATM, we met Rizal, our secondary school classmate! Such coincidence! He brought us to the ATMs :) Since he live near by, he should know where are the ATMs for POSB and UOB. Chatted for awhile and he got to go meet his girlfriend or someone. And we went to KFC to have our lunch :D
He is going into NS soon as well :(
