Stop procrastinating and blog all the expired posts now! :\
Started off with some driving practice using my papa's van. It was a horrible experience, especially for the parking. VERTICAL PARKING! :\ My worst driving skill. I even parked in the middle of two parking slots D: Luckily I didn't bang anyone's property...
Anyway, I was really glad it was over and I made my way to Ikea from Kovan. I was the earliest to reach there. Probably 15mins earlier than appointed 5pm time.

Soon Shuhua, WeiLeng and lastly, Moo arrived. And we can go ordered our food :) Moo treated all of us because he came late D: It wasn't really necessary but he insisted. After that, we all shared a Daim cake :P

After that, we met XueNi at Anchorpoint and we could finally start our journey to Marine Barrage for stargazing and the Orionids meteor shower!~ Joshua will meet us there later at 9pm or so. Took the train to Marine Bay station and walked through a tunnel to reach the bus stop. We were uncertain that the shuttle bus would come to this bus stop or not. But bus400 sure goes there. When I checked the iris, I got a shock that the bus400 will take 40mins to arrive :\ We were discussing whether to wait for it or walk there, and the shuttle bus came! Lucky for us :D And I'm sure glad that we didn't walk :\ It was such a long way in.

When we reached Marine Barrage, there was a horde of students waiting to get on the bus D: It was really horrifying to go through a mass of smelly sweaty students :\ We slowly made our way up to the Marin Barrage, taking lots of pictures on the way. I realized that there are a lot of fountains there as well. Real pretty! :D

After that, we made our way to the astronomy club people! Lots of telescopes were set up there. Moo helped us to borrow one of the telescope for us to use :D I got to see a lot of amazing things through them, like the moon, jumping Jupiter, Andromeda galaxy and Pleiades (star cluster). JinPeng has a really awesome device called "goto". It allows him to key in the coordinates of whatever he wants and the telescope will turn to it! That's how we get to see the Andromeda galaxy through the scope! WeiLeng and I tried to capture the moon and Jupiter by taking picture of them through the telescope. My camera wasn't very good for it as the lens isn't external :(

Tried to sleep on the mat but the stupid sprinklers kept popping out unpredictably every hour. They seriously reminded me of Teletubbies D: Once XueNi and I went to the toilet and when we came back, I saw all the scopes were shifted under the shelter... THE SPRINKLERS STRIKED AGAIN! D: Anyway, I think I only managed to sleep for 30mins xD And for XueNi, she didn't sleep at all! She played her NDS throughout the night. I was haunted by the line, "Even better than mama!"
Can't trust the sprinklers anymore :@

Then Joshua arrived, bringing all the clouds along with him... The clouds then covered up the night sky :( It was already very bad, due to all the spotlights from the construction area that lit up the sky, blinding the stars. Now with the clouds? We can't see a thing xD! So we just took pictures like mad and later when reaching 10.30pm, Shuhua and WeiLeng went home. While the rest of us stayed overnight at Maring Barrage!!~

Anyway, we lie on the mats stargazing and also to try to catch a meteor from the Orionids meteor shower. Played and challenged puzzle bobble on the NDS when we got bored of looking at the stars. I swear I got the Orion constellation imprinted in my head now! Due to staring at it for sooo long! And I didn't even get to see meteors because the huge damn clouds floated by and covered everything again D:

And my... the skies brightened up really quickly to a new day! JinPeng and Moo taught me how to play Monopoly Deal, the card version of Monopoly. It was really fun! Even less hassle than the board game version. Moo, Joshua, XueNi and I left first, because XueNi was really sick due to her flu and lack of sleep. No bus services yet... so we had to walk out to the main road. Anyway, I'm really glad to reach home, shower and climb into my own bed for a nap :) A nap from 8.30am to 7pm+. A short nap? :D
